GETTING TO CURRAWONG

By Car

Drive to Palm Beach Public Wharf [Barrenjoey Road]. Parking is located adjacent to the Wharf and is "pay and display". One to seven day tickets are available for purchase from the ticket machines in the car park. There is some free street parking a short distance away near Palm Beach Cellars. On weekends and public holidays parking space is very limited so it's advisable to allow plenty of time.

By Bus

From city, catch the 190 or L90 bus at Stand D from Wynyard Station. This is located on Carrington St. The journey via bus from the city will take between 1–2 hours.

Ferries depart on the hour and take 25 minutes to reach Currawong. Please note the last ferry Friday evening departs 8pm. Ferry timetable information is available from Palm Beach Ferry Service on (+61 2) 9918 2747.

By Water Taxi

They are licensed to carry a maximum of six passengers including luggage.

Peninsula Water Taxis: Operate from Palm Beach and must be booked in advance. Palm Beach to Currawong costs $25 per trip. Please note an additional charge will apply if the call is made after hours.

Church Point Pink Water Taxis: operate a 24 hour service. Weekday | night services (up to midnight) cost $40 per trip from Palm Beach to Currawong. Weekend trips are priced at $42 per trip. Please note bookings after midnight incur an additional charge.

By Boat

Runabouts and dinghies can be tied to the wharf and a deepwater mooring is available for larger vessels. Please let us know well in advance so the appropriate arrangements can be made.

What to do when you arrive

Check in times:
Friday from 3 pm
Sunday from 5 pm

Please note if you arrive before these times, your luggage will be stored but access to cottages or Midholme will not be available before the above times.

Check out times:
Weekdays: 11 am
Sunday: Midday

Wheelbarrows are left at the end of the wharf to help you transport your luggage and supplies to and from the cottages. Please return these to the end of the wharf after use for incoming guests. Currawong has its own tractor and trailer for transporting heavier items.
